Ross Yannayon is the Director of Infrastructure and Operations at the UNC System Office. He has served in this expanding role for over seven years. Ross began his career as a software developer in 1985. His responsibilities evolved through roles as a UNIX sys admin, Oracle DBA, and IT consultant. He has been involved in data center systems management for over 25 years, including 8+ years with NC DIT. Ross holds a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Mathematics from Penn State University. Ross is ITIL Foundation certified and is a graduate of the UNC School of Government CGCIO (Certified Government Chief Information Officer) program.
