An Unconference is a participant-driven meeting with no set presentation. Attendees talk freely about the suggested topic, which is proposed by a conference attendee. Want to request a topic? Fill out the Unconference Request Form!

The topic for this Unconference session is "Speaking the Unspeakable." It is never easy to talk about some of the deepest common human experiences: death, illness, mental health. Yet in the pandemic, these issues are more present than ever. It can be hard to talk with each other about COVID-19 safety measures and concerns when someone in the group has lost someone, or when a coworker is affected by the disease, or when it's emotionally stressful. Do you struggle with finding the right thing to say? Do you know what to do when an employee or coworker loses a loved one? Are things more complex than usual? Let's talk about what we can't talk about.
