Our team is developing a syllabus plugin for the Moodle learning management system that allows students to quickly and easily get answers to frequently asked questions (like faculty contact information and office hours) by voice through Google Assistant or by instant message through Google Chat.

In this session, we’ll briefly discuss our goals for the project, the development of the Moodle plugin, and the Google Assistant and Chatbot integration. The presentation is targeted to those interested in learning about and discussing ideas around the use of voice and chatbot technology in education.
