COVID-19 shut down our university suddenly during spring break and ITS was asked to provide remote access to services that had been only available in person. Windows had a VDI lab but Mac users had nothing comparable. This session will walk through the steps we took to identify, purchase, install, test and deploy a Mac server cluster that runs MacOS 10.5 across multiple Mac nodes with high end university owned applications that could not be licensed to personal Macs. Oh, and we did it all in a week!
